Using Groups to show your work

Right...
Well...
I have no idea what I am doing - but here goes with my first blog...
I am new to the site and the site's name really got me interested - but it has been really hard and slow, trying to look at and admire everyone's pictures. There seems to be no easy way to see them en bloc - except through the Groups, which seems to be very underused.
On the blogs you can submit pictures up to 300x300 but in the Groups the size is 600 x 600 - hence my comment elsewhere - that that was quite big enough...
It is really easy to submit pictures from your albums to the groups, too
In the blogs, you can only see a few bits of art work at a time - but in the Groups you can see loads of thumbnails and enjoy looking about...
I hope that I have not blotted my copy book - or overstepped the mark - but the photography group was such a good idea (which no-one's using, which is a real shame) so I have started one for paintings, too - so maybe with more than one group on the go, they will catch on??
